The Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium This museum is a wonderful place for the every one to visit. Plan on spending at least an hour here, more if you are going to catch the show at the Planetarium. Burke Mountain is the center of activity all year round offering excellent downhill skiing, cross country skiing, as well as mountain biking and hiking. Go see this maple museum and take a tour of their factory! Tours start every 15 mins and run continuously in the fall. Plan to spend about an hour at this site following a knowledgeable tour guide through two floors of the factory. This 130 foot waterfall is found about 50 minutes from the cabins. It has nature trails, gardens and a maze that could challenge all ages. This attraction is handicapped accessible and special needs friendly. It hosts the largest collection of deciduous Azaleas and Rhododendrons in Northern Vermont. Open Mermorial Day thru November 1st.
